How much will it cost to make a claim?

We will provide you with free initial advice on your claim, so it will cost you nothing to call us for information and guidance.

This will be to discuss your circumstances and to see whether we feel that you have a case to claim for compensation. Regardless of whether you want to make an asbestos claim, a road traffic accident claim or any other type of personal injury claim, our initial advice is always free.

If we advise you to bring a claim, we will then discuss with you how your claim may be funded. There are a number of options, including ‘no win, no fee’ agreements (also known as conditional fee agreements, or CFAs), damages-based agreements, trade union funding, legal expenses insurance and public funding. It will depend on your individual circumstances and the nature of your claim as to which of these funding methods is most appropriate.

The vast majority of cases are funded using ‘no win, no fee’ agreements and these are often used alongside an insurance policy. These arrangements together mean that, provided you comply with certain requirements:

  • If your claim is not successful – you will not have to pay anything.
  • If you win your claim – you will be charged certain costs that can no longer be recovered from your opponent, due to changes in the law. However, we will cap these costs at no more than 25% of your compensation payment.

If you already have an active claim in process with another firm of solicitors, but are unhappy with the level of service that you have experienced from them, it might be possible for you to transfer your case to Dedicated Accident Solicitors, so that we can work on getting you the compensation and measure of justice that you deserve.

Dedicated Accident Solicitors and Dedicated Asbestos Solicitors are trading names of John Das Limited, a company registered in England. John Das Limited is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA number 573295). We do not accept service by email or fax.
