Privacy policy

Please also read our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

Scams

We are aware that, in common with many businesses, the name of the firm may be misused by others for illegitimate purposes. Some criminals will use the name of a law firm to make their scam seem genuine. These scams may take the form of unsolicited e-mails, faxes, letters, texts or calls which may claim to be from us or our staff.

Scam communications may take many different forms and will usually offer you a fictitious opportunity to make a large amount of money. You should be particularly wary of any offers that might suggest that you are entitled to:

  • Unclaimed bank funds
  • Unclaimed inheritance
  • Shares or investments
  • Lottery wins
  • Access to compensation
  • Loans or help with debts

The intention of the fraudster will often be to trick you into giving them some money or your identity or bank account details. They may suggest that you need to pay an “advance fee”, “administration fee” or “transaction fee” in order to unlock funds or that they need your bank account details to pay the funds into.

Any such communications purporting to be from this firm would not be genuine and would be part of a scam where our name was being used illegally and without authorisation. We do not send unsolicited communications asking for money or personal or bank details.

Should you receive a communication of this type, please do not give any money or provide personal or bank account details. If you believe that you have fallen victim to a scam, contact the police.

Should you have any doubt about the authenticity of a communication purportedly from this firm or if you wish to report a scam using our name, please contact us by emailing enquiries@dedicatedaccidentsolicitors.co.uk.
